Home sweet angry-note-writing home
A little while ago, I posted some passive-aggressive notes that were written in the laundry room of my apartment building. Notes are pretty common here -- we've had them to complain about the hot water, about dogs taking poops outside of windows, and a few other instances I can't remember. Today there are two notes taped, one on top of the other, on the window next to the front door. The bottom one reads:

There are assigned parking spaces around the building, and apparently someone parked in this guy's spot and he left the note on her car. The woman who accidentally parked in the wrong spot then took the note, wrote a reply, and posted the two of them near the door. The notes, I should point out, were hung with a band-aid. Here's hers:

Ok, whoa. Is it time for a group hug? Welcome to the building, lady.

Yikes! I hate notes but really what else was the guy supposed to do in that situation (assuming he didn't know it was her car, how could he talk to her?) I don't think it's that unreasonable for him to want to have his assigned spot open - it's his spot, every night! What a crazy, hypersensitive lady. Did she think he meant move out of the building? I assumed he meant move out of the spot.

I agree. And in fact, one night when some random red truck was in my spot, I also left a note. I think it was a little nicer -- something like "We have assigned spots at this building, so please don't park here again" -- but really, like Stevenson, what else was I going to do?
And anyway, for posting this note, Kim fits right in with the rest of the jerks in this building.

yeah, she went a little out of line with that one. i mean, i know i'd be fucking PISSED if someone was in my spot, if i were paying for one. a car's a big object to find alternate space for, its not like, oh you took my cellphone space. yknow. yeah that note screams bitch like..uh...something that does it loudly. "try to have a good life" "controlling human" ?
woah..
Those two notes would really fit in my collection of angry notes!!
