Men, prepare to be upstaged
My friend Sara got engaged over the weekend, after her (now) fiancĂ©, George, raised the bar on creative proposals to astronomical, intimidating levels. Here’s the video he made, which as of this writing is the sixth-most-viewed video on YouTube today:
Amazing, right? Congrats to them both; they’re wonderful people and a wonderful couple (and make wonderful T-shirts!), and things couldn’t have worked out better.

That’s amazing! Congrats to them. I love it when proposals have a lot of time and thought put into them. I mean, you only get to propose once, right? (Okay, not always.) Why not make it memorable.

I am so happy for Sara and George. With such an inventive proposal..which took thought, planning and action….I see a marriage which can sustain itself, grow and even re-invent itself with time…through the same process..thought (and thoughtfulness), planning, and action…and of course…some unplanned for spontaneity.
