I, too, read this blog before I knew what a blog was (haha, remember the blinding backgrounds and the screenwide text?) ...in fact, I was still in grade school back then.

I'm glad you're not killing it yet, I would miss it so. It's the only blog I can even remember the url to type it in. Here's to another 11 years of (in)frequent updates.

Jason,

Wondering what was up with the less than frequency. You've made it up to me however by giving me the phrase "I look forward to moderately meeting your lowered expectations." I have a new work catch phrase!

hey there,

i was reading Happy Scrappy back way before it was a blog. in the days that you now refer to as "the dustbin days." i had totally forgotten about it until one day I was on the bus and i saw some (surprise! surprise!) goths. It was like the nineties again. My friend started talking about how stupid goths were, and I said, "oh, I donno, I just think they're kind of funny." Then, like the guy from Memento, a flood of repressed aim conversations hit me, and the minute I got home I went to check to see if you still had up the thing where you put the text through the babelfish autotranslater multiple times and then back into english.

anyway, i've been reading the blog for a few weeks now, and it's one of the few 'blogs' i check regularly. jolly good shit.

also, it'd be neat if you posted links to your professional work on the blog as they became available.
